Red Imp Comedy Club was started in April 2014 by stand-up and compere Susan Murray. I was asked to design the logo and publicity for the launch and continue to evolve the branding, to develop a distinctive and recognisable identity that reflects the personality of the club and the quality night of entertainment it puts on, featuring big names from the comedy circuit.
Live comedy produces unique communal moments and Red Imp has hosted an election night special, and many Christmas specials. All of which have helped grow the East London club's notoriety, which has built up both a keen and loyal local audience as well as comedy fans regularly travelling from further afield to attend the consistently sold out monthly shows.
The continued success has led to the introduction of family-friendly shows with Red Imp Comedy 4 Kidz.
